YPO Brussels in the Europe Region has planned an educational program revolving around the theme “Explore Your Brain.” Education Officer Jacques Tache (YPO Brussels) co-produced a beautifully shot teaser video inviting people to open their minds. “It’s all about exploring the four different sides of our brain that are not part of our daily ‘rational’ approach of our lives and work: fears, creativity, spirituality and the unconscious,” says Tache.

Communication officers from Education International affiliates in more than thirty countries are gathering in Brussels today to discuss a roadmap for the upcoming Mobilising for Quality Education Campaign.
The primary purpose of Brussels College Night is to help secondary school students and families learn about higher education opportunities in the United States. At the 2010 edition admissions staff, university faculty members and alumni from over 50 institutions attended the event, shared information about their universities and answered questions from prospective students and their families. While the emphasis was on American higher education, there were also be representatives from U.S. accredited English-speaking programs throughout Europe.
Several hundred students, mostly children of EU staff members, on Tuesday took to the streets in Brussels' EU quarter to protests spending cuts at the European schools in Brussels. Police were called to quell a noisy demonstration by children outside the Berlaymont, the commission's headquarters. Some 500 youngsters staged the protest on Tuesday against possible proposed cuts to the budget of the European schools in Brussels. Some plastered the walls of the building with posters, reading, "No cuts to education" and "We refuse to sacrifice education." The protesters were, mostly, children of senior personnel who work for the various EU institutions, including the commission and parliament.
