The BSB Secondary School is a supportive and welcoming environment where individuals are valued and can flourish. We are also an active school - there are always Sport, Drama or Music activities going on, reflecting the busy extra-curricular life of the students and staff. BSB is unique in Belgium in offering both the English A Levels and the International Baccalaureate (IB). We have small class sizes and well-qualified teachers who give of their best to get the best from the students.
Flemish minister of education, Pascal Smet, recently decided to dumps these unique projects of bicultural education in Brussels (the capital of Europe), without any form of dialogue with the affected children, parents, teachers or schools. YPO Brussels in the Europe Region has planned an educational program revolving around the theme “Explore Your Brain.” Education Officer Jacques Tache (YPO Brussels) co-produced a beautifully shot teaser video inviting people to open their minds. “It’s all about exploring the four different sides of our brain that are not part of our daily ‘rational’ approach of our lives and work: fears, creativity, spirituality and the unconscious,” says Tache.
The Compulsory School at Scandinavian School of Brussels creates the ideal conditions for the student's learning and personal development. Every student in our compulsory school must feel that going to school is both stimulating and important. Every student should leave the school each day with a keen interest for more learning. Our way of working includes aesthetic and ethical elements that motivate the students to develop their ability to think and to reflect creatively.
